SAINT JULIEN

Wines made in the fragrant workshop of the Médoc
It is probably just an interesting coincidence but St. Julien is situated in the centre of the Médoc, exactly half-way between Margaux and St. Estephe, and reveals a wonderful symbiosis of delicacy and finesse, power and intensity. The appellation St. Julien is very small yet holds one the highest percentages of Classified Growths. It expresses its essence with a wide-ranging and powerful aromatic palette.
Already well-known in the 17th century for its wines of quality it today withholds the architectural splendour of those châteaux such as Château Beychevelle, named « the Versailles of the Médoc » , one of the finest examples. It is a genuine « laboratory for wines of excellence » like the Léovilles, Château Talbot and others, which are served at the most prestigious tables all over the world.
